CPS Tech Talk
POSTPONED UNTIL AUGUST 2021 l Virtual Event
About |
To afford our educators time to fully focus on return-to-school efforts, we will be postponing this year’s Tech Talk 2021. Instead, we will be combining the event with Googlepalooza for the second year in a row, which will take place in August 2021. By combining the two events, educators will have additional time to explore with their tools and create innovative sessions to share with their peers.
This year’s event will still be a full day(s) of interactive, enriching sessions that will be taking place virtually instead of in a classroom. Sessions will cover various technology topics that support instruction. We will celebrate our Ones to Watch and our Innovators of the Year as part of the combined event. Be on the lookout for more information in the coming months! |
Session Proposals We are currently seeking innovative educators and thought leaders to present on a variety of technology topics including instructional tools, distance learning techniques, technology integration in the classroom and upcoming CPS technology initiatives. If you are interested in leading a virtual session(s) for Tech Talk 2021, please check out the Call for Proposals Submissions Guide for tips on submitting your proposal.

Ones to Watch Nominations
We are currently accepting nominations for our Ones to Watch awards. Any CPS staff member can submit a nomination for a CPS teacher, TechCo, librarian or school-based administrator who is innovative in their use of educational technologies. Self nominations are also encouraged!
In addition to the input from your nomination, each nominee will be asked to create a 2-minute video that showcases his or her work. Nominees will be contacted with details about the video requirements and evaluation criteria. |
